louise fitzroy

Louise FitzRoy is a Walkley Award-winning journalist, television presenter, food writer and educator. An internationally renowned ambassador of local produce and sustainability, Louise is dedicated to raising the profile of Australian agriculture and passionate about educating people on the origin of their food and the importance of supporting local producers. Louise FitzRoy is the developer of the "Paddock to Plate" program.

charlie arnott

Charlie is a biodynamic farmer and grazier, based on his 5000 acre mixed farming property at Boorowa, NSW, where he has established tens of thousands of native trees. He is passionate about growing clean healthy beef, which he sells direct to customers under his brand Charlie Arnott Natural Grass Fed Beef.

Winner of the Conservation Farmer of the Year – Lachlan Region, Charlie has won several agricultural industry awards and has been an active Landcarer since the inception of the grass-roots movement in 1989. He is currently chair of the regional Landcare organisation, LachLandcare.

clayton donovan

Clayton Donovan grew up on the East Coast of Australia known as Northern New South Wales, and started learning about native produce when he was four years old out walking with his Aunties and grandmothers, taking what they found in the bush or along the coastline and cooking it up at their homes.

Clayton has cooked for many celebrities, media personalities and well-known chefs including Italian Michelin Star chef, Lorenzo Gogo, on his recent visit to Australia.

Last year, Clayton Donovan reached a new level as writer and presenter on ABC TV program Wild Kitchen. From March through to July 2015 the episodes will be available for viewing on Qantas aircrafts.

samantha gowing

Samantha Gowing is the Dr Seuss of health and nutrition. She has dedication and enthusiasm, knowledge and belief, which is second to none. Renowned for her sharp wit, word play, and sense humour, she has a wonderful take on life and the way she explains things.

A passionate entrepreneur, she founded her globally recognized business Gowings Food Health Wealth in 2000, which provides culinary and marketing solutions to the wellness industry. In 2008 Sam transplanted herself from the gritty inner Melbourne suburb of Collingwood to lush Byron Bay to further her holistic study, research, and to surf the pristine waters of the north coast.

george the farmer

George the Farmer is an educational character aimed at 0-8 year olds whose primary purpose is to educate children about farming practices along with food and fibre production through entertaining performances, songs, stories and games.

The character was launched in July 2014 through an interactive story app which follows George, his talented wife Ruby and Jessie the dog as they plant a wheat crop and educates children about the important steps of successfully planting a crop while educating about the foods which are produced from wheat once the grain has been milled to make flour.

Following on from the app, the character now has two picture books, a CD of fun farm songs, a small stage show and a curriculum aligned learning sequence developed for educator’s to use within their classrooms. George the Farmer was featured on ABC Landline on Saturday, 9 May and has received national media coverage on radio and in print. The character has received top reviews; has a rapidly growing social media presence and is regularly listed in the top ten educational apps for Australia and New Zealand on iTunes.

Simon Lawson

Executive Chef Simon Lawson first started cooking at a very early age in his Grandmother's kitchen. He used to sit on the kitchen bench and help her wash rice, this was where he started a life long passion for food. He has a great ability for marrying flavours and creating dishes which are delicious and nutritious. He has worked in Sydney's top restaurants. Previously, Head Chef at Nove Cucina Restaurant in Woolloomooloo.
